3. What R-value or insulation standard should I aim for?

4. How long does insulation last?
Quality roof-space insulation, when correctly installed and maintained, can last many years. However, its performance can decline due to:

5. Can I add insulation over existing insulation?

6. What materials do you use and are they safe?

8. Do you need to access my roof space / what preparations should I make?
Yes — we’ll need safe access to the roof space and clear any stored items if required. To prepare:
- Ensure roof access hatch is unlocked and unobstructed for the quote process only
- Remove or relocate items stored in the roof space (for safety and access)
- Clear pets and children from roof-space access areas during work
We’ll provide a work schedule and safety guidance ahead of time.
9. Will the work create a mess or disruption?
We aim to minimise disruption:
- Old insulation removal (if required) is managed carefully and clean-up is included
- We use protective sheets where needed and ensure work zones are safely secured
- After installation, we leave the area clean, tidy and ready for your use

10. Do you offer warranties or performance guarantees?
Yes. We stand behind our workmanship and the materials we install. We’ll provide details of the product warranties and any workmanship guarantee as part of your quote. We also provide advice on maintaining performance (ventilation, pest prevention, avoiding compression of insulation etc).
11. How soon can you schedule the inspection and installation?
We aim to be responsive. After you contact us by phone (0410 252 282) or via our website, we’ll schedule an inspection at a convenient time, and then book installation once the quote is approved.
Lead-times depend on current demand, roof complexity, and supply of materials — we’ll communicate clearly so you know what to expect.
12. Is there any benefit in doing insulation at the same time as other roof / ceiling upgrades?
Absolutely. If you’re considering roof maintenance, ventilation upgrades, pest proofing, or roof restoration, bundling these works can reduce overall disruption and help ensure systems (insulation, ventilation, roofing) work together optimally.
